THEME
A pic came up on my dash from twitter, someone posting something off the CEA store website about SE winning the gold “Congratulations to Maddie and the team” This made me so mad. A team is a TEAM. Every single member on SE made that happen, including the coaches. It would look pretty stupid if it was just maddie stood their on her own stunting on the ground… It seems they have now changed it, but it was extremely unprofessional of them to have put that message up there in the first place. Maddie is an amazing athlete, and this was her last year on SE, but some people are forgetting the other amazingly talented seniors on SE who are pushed aside. They all wanted this just as much as Maddie. I almost feel as if this whole ‘obsession’ over Maddie has been blown out of control. I know this is to do with her 360 ball up! However now a stunt group on another team has managed a 540 ball up, which is incredible. We also have to remember that without the bases and backs these stunts wouldn’t be possible. Don’t get me wrong, Maddie is extremely talented, however I have started to lose respect for her. Partly due to how her fans constantly make it seem as if she is the only athlete worth valuing on SE and partly due to her occasional actions that seem rude to her team-mates (such as her running off with the trophy at worlds, although I do understand that she was overwhelmed with happiness I do think it was a bit rude.) Although I am a fan of individual athletes, I never say that they are better than their team-mates, because their not, everyone on a team has a similar level of talent or they wouldn’t be on the team. This is all I have to say really… I am not putting anyone down or saying that Maddie isn’t a good cheerleader but that a team is a team. And some people just need to remember this :)

this post is the tea

The only reason they listed her is because she won the scholarship from the usasf.
